چکیده
Introduction: McGrath® MAC videolaryngoscope is a single-handed device designed to facilitate intubation in patients both with normal airway conditions (without any complications) or complications such as cervical spine and/or anatomic abnormalities. Objective: This study aims compare and direct laryngoscope using Macintosh blades learning material simulators for medical personnel (including anesthesiologist paramedics) novice operator (medical students). Method: this systematic review the PRISMA method which was carried out systematically. Data collected through Pubmed, science, EBSCOHost, Proquest keywords ‘airway management ', ‘laryngoscopy', 'manikin'. Journal included based on published publication time between 2008 2020, SimMan Laerdal Airway manikin, journal discussing here, where it difficult airway. Results: 1556 journals were 4 search sites then screening process year approved 2020. Four studies use adult manikin including 247 participants review. Conclusion: Based that have been reviewed, provides better superior results compared terms of success rate visualization glottis. Also, shorten complication) The operators) all reviewed prefer Mac instead blade Endotracheal Intubation mainly used simulators.

McGRATH MAC videolaryngoscope versus Macintosh laryngoscope for orotracheal intubation in intensive care patients: the randomised multicentre MACMAN trial study protocol
INTRODUCTION Critically ill patients with acute respiratory, neurological or cardiovascular failure requiring invasive mechanical ventilation are at high risk of difficult intubation and have organ dysfunctions associated with complications of intubation and anaesthesia such as hypotension and hypoxaemia. The complication rate increases with the number of intubation attempts. Videolaryngoscopy ...
متن کاملStylet angulation for routine endotracheal intubation with McGrath videolaryngoscope
BACKGROUND The McGrath videolaryngoscope (VL) provides excellent laryngoscopic views, but directing an endotracheal tube can be difficult, and thus the routine use of a stylet is recommended. The goal of this study is to determine the appropriate angle (60° vs 90°) of the stylet when using the McGrath VL by comparing the time to intubation (TTI). METHODS One hundred and forty patients aged 19...
متن کاملCirculatory responses to nasotracheal intubation: comparison of GlideScope videolaryngoscope and Macintosh direct laryngoscope.
BACKGROUND The GlideScope videolaryngoscope (GSVL) has been shown to have no special advantage over the Macintosh direct laryngoscope (MDL) in attenuating the circulatory responses to orotracheal intubation, but no study has compared the circulatory responses to nasotracheal intubation (NTI) using the two devices. This prospective randomized clinical study was designed to determine whether ther...
متن کاملComparison of the Pentax AirwayScope and McGrath MAC videolaryngoscope for endotracheal intubation in patients with a normal airway
Various videolaryngoscopes (VLs) have been developed to provide a better laryngeal view and facilitate difficult intubations. The goal of this study was to compare 2 VLs, the Pentax AWS and the McGrath VL, with respect to intubation time and ease of intubation. One hundred forty patients aged 19 to 65 years (American Society of Anesthesiologists classification I or II), who required tracheal int...

INTRODUCTION Endotracheal intubation in the ICU is a challenging procedure and is frequently associated with life-threatening complications. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the C-MAC® video laryngoscope on laryngeal view and intubation success compared with direct laryngoscopy. METHODS In a single-center, prospective, comparative before-after study in an anesthetist-lea...
